Loess grasslands (reg-hegy, Banka), rocky grasslands and scrub (Magos-hegy, Henrik-hegy), oak forests (Kecske-hegy, Magos-hegy), set-aside vineyards (Magosi-szolok) and sandy grasslands (Arany-hegy) between the settlements of Csolnok and Dg. The region is varied with sand mining pits and deep minor roads. Regarding its geological structure, it is among the most diverse parts of the Gerecse (Gerecse Mountains): near or on the surface Dachstein limestone is present in large areas and freshwater limestone, dolomite can be also found. On these bases, in the southern part of the area loess is deposited often in several meters' thickness as younger sediment, while in the northern part sand is deposited. Furthermore, the mixture of the two can also occur.
